Monitoring Consulting

For monitoring projects we believe that a detailed concept is the key to success, and it must include specifications for the actual implementation.

We therefore recommend running a pre-project, in the form of a workshop, before producing your detailed concept.

To optimally realise monitoring requirements, terreActive AG has developed a standard process that guarantees the successful implementation of your monitoring project.

1. Define and prioritise monitoring in a workshop

2. Optional: Run a pilot installation with a selection of key objects

3. Produce a detailed concept as per the workshop and a corresponding detailed offer

4. Implement the productive solution in two steps, as per the detailed concept:

  • Carry out basis monitoring for all relevant objects as per the workshop and detailed concept
  • Conduct customer-specific monitoring in line with experience gained through the detailed concept and basis monitoring

We always recommend holding a workshop to consolidate existing requirements and lay the foundations for a detailed concept. At the customer’s request, we can leverage findings from the pilot installation to review every aspect of the requirements to see if they have been met and make any changes needed. Findings from the workshop and the pilot installation are then incorporated into the detailed concept and handed to the customer for final approval. Actual implementation of the productive solution begins once approval has been granted. Not only does this reduce costs, it also helps answer complex questions relating to comprehensive monitoring solutions at the start of the process, and lightens the load on customer resources during implementation itself.

Workshop

Workshop with all stakeholders to achieve the following:

  • Record the customer’s monitoring requirements:

Part 1: Conceptual requirements (management, security)

Part 2: Functional requirements (operations, engineering)

  • Prioritise requirements independently of implementation costs
